Dermotrace® — Skin Marker
Dermotrace® is a sterile skin marker for surgical use.
Three types with different tips are available.
- Dermotrace® bi-pointe with two tips: one medium tip (4.5 mm diameter) for a line thickness of 2 to 4 mm and one fine tip (2 mm diameter) for a line thickness of 1 to 2 mm.
- Dermotrace® monopointe fine has one fine tip (2 mm diameter) for a line thickness of 1 to 2 mm.
- Dermotrace® monopointe extra-fine has one extra-fine tip (0.7 mm diameter) for a line thickness of 0.4 to 0.9 mm.
Facilitating surgeons’ work, the Dermotrace® skin marker comes sterile in a set with a flexible graduated ruler of 15 cm length.
Single Use
Dermotrace® is for single use only.
There is a risk of contamination of skin markers with pathogenic germs and / or commensal germs. It is recommended to use several markers for marking different parts of the body.
Ink composition
Methyl violet, ricinus oil, diethylen glycol, osmotic water
Technical features
- Perfect ink resistance to soap and water
- Good visibility with most skin types
- Can be erased easily with alcoholic solution
- Easy drawing even in angles and wrinkles thanks to the fine tip
- Medical grade ink, biocompatible and nontoxic
