Folioxane® silicone sheets have proven to be efficient in endonasal surgery, in the acoustic meatus and/or the oral cavity and for external use.

Folioxane® can be trimmed individually according to the surgeon’s needs.

Tympanoplasty

Tympanoplasty in case of otitis media

Minimising the risk of adhesion in cholesteatoma surgery
Formation of mucous secretion
Fibrous scarring
Stabilisation of the tympanic antrum; in this case a rolled-in Folioxane should be used.

Septoplasty

In endonasal surgery and septoplasty Folioxane® supports the septum approx. 15 bis 20 days und minimises the risk of adhesion/synechia between lower and middle nasal concha
In case of trauma, Folioxane® can be used to create a cartilage or bone bypass, sustaining or aligning the nose.
